Jessica | 1 comments Jessica, from the not-so-free state of Maryland. Friend of Doug. Stoked to have Mindy in the group :) Raised in an evangelical church. I've looked forward to this book for a while and am most excited about it finally being released so I can read it!

Jarod Wachtel | 2 comments Jarod wachtel, originally from pittsburgh, PA but recently transplanted to lakewood, CO.

Found the libertarian christian page on facebook and consequently found out about this book and all of you fine people.

Raised in a evangelical ('religious right') christian home. Consider myself a private property anarcho-christian orrr a christian voluntaryist with leanings towards christian non-retaliation/non-violence.

Im most looking forward to hearing (reading) the group participants' thoughts and expanding my understanding of the kingdom of God in the here and now. Also, Hoping to find more insights and sources for my own works on a related topic.

I've been a part of the Christian Libertarian group since a few days after it was created.
I am a strange mixture spiritually. I was raised evangelical, very conservative. By leanings these days are toward liberal Mennonite. I find much in Eastern Orthodoxy and other traditions I admire. I am pretty progressive theologically compared to pretty much everyone I know.
I really enjoy Zahnd's writing, but really I am most interested in hearing his personal story.

Doug | 6 comments 1. Amish Country, PA (grew up in Canaan Valley, WV)
2. I created the group :-D
3. Attend a stereotypical evangelical church, but on all kinds of online quizzes I show up as Anglican/Wesleyan in leanings... probably a liberal anabaptist
4. Hearing what others have to say!

Tanya Thorne | 2 comments Tanya, from Hayward, Wisconsin. I'm on the Christian Libertarians fb group and I heard about the book and this group there. I'm just now starting the book, so I'm catching up here! I'm a former evangelical conservative-turned Messianic/Hebrew Roots anarchist. I'm looking forward to the book because I like books that ruthlessly question tradition in search of biblical truth, and I'm interested in the topic of paganism in the church. I've read a couple of Zahnd's articles and I'm intrigued!
