Ashleigh Black (ashblack) My nominees are (this'll show the first book in each series):

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #1) by Ransom Riggs

(Almost done with City of Bones though.)

Are we going to do a poll?

Ashleigh Black (ashblack) Eventually I was thinking so. I'm doing this so I can get an idea of what everyone's tastes are and see if there's any overlap. And also this way if we don't get to one book right away we can look at them later. If we get into a series though I'd find it unwise (unless it was unanimous) to stop in the middle of it. Does that all seem okay? Please let me know, thanks!

Ashleigh Black (ashblack) This might sound silly but I hope these are all books you haven't read. I'd like us all to start fresh.

Well, sometimes people prefer to reread stuff over read, or realize they can't discuss it. Anyway, what one person hasn't read, others might have, or the book that gets chosen might have, so that person still wouldn't be "starting fresh".
