Renee! I loved that book but can't seem to get into the other 2...length???? Too much historical data???? I may have skimmed book 2, don't remember much of it. Just checked, apparently I'm still reading it LOL
I never did try the 2nd one even though I did enjoy the first one enough to give it 4 stars. It was just a little slow in places for me from what I remember.I have #2 and #3, so I decided I'm going to try to read the 2nd one sometime this year, and if I enjoy it (4 stars or better), I'll try #3. But there are too many other books I want to devour right now--it'll have to wait at least a couple of months!
Maybe I should read #2 for one of the month challenges, or at least finish it???

I also agree with Anna. Immortals After Dark is an awesome PnR series! It's just gotten a bit confusing to me the last few books. I think it's because I skipped the Dacian book, Shadow's Claim, thinking at the time that it was different from the IAD series because it wasn't labeled as IAD, but now, it's part of the IAD series, so I'm going to go back and read it when I have time for an almost-500-page book.Jean--thanks for the deal--I picked it up!
