I'm almost 200 pages in. Last thing I remember reading about is (view spoiler) (not a huge spoiler, but just in case :) )
OMG YES I CAN'T WAIT!!!! I preordered it as soon as it was available on Amazon. All things will stop once that book arrives. Of course, I'll have to reread the first two...

Now I'm at the part where (view spoiler) :)
The Genre Minx wrote: "Ok, I read ACOWAR. It was good but I can't say that I was over the moon about it as I was the first 2 books. It had plenty of emotional feels but no epic emotional feels. Plenty of reveals though? ..."Oh wow, you finished it already? I still have 100 or so pages left in ACOMAF. (please don't spoil anything!) :)
I read the first two, the first ...uhh, the only reason I read the second was because of Rhysand so you know my feels about the second.I'm waiting to read the third, one because I'll be reading it alone and won't have anyone to fan girl with...and two I know I will devour it and then what? It'll be gone! Lol
I actually didn't like Rhysand in the first book, but somehow he had a change of character in the second, and I really like him now. That being said, I actually like the newer characters more than him. My favorite is either Amren or Mor.

You knew there was more to it, you knew there was something... by the second book I was blown away as far as characters and world went. I detested Feyre in the first book and it was remedied by the second..
Sooooo I'm making myself wait and finish up some ARCs before I tackle this personal read lol

Maybe that was how it was supposed to be all along, but it just seemed really... I'm not even sure how to describe it. Disappointing? I guess?
I really liked Tamlin and I loved him with Feyre, but now... I guess I like Feyre with Rhysand, but I'm still disappointed with the fact that I hate Tamlin now.
Okay can I just say that I don't like Tamlin but I feel like people handle extreme stress different ways and SJM does a fantastic job of showing that! The way he handled his stress was unhealthy and scary and he bottled things up instead of talking about them which led to (view spoiler)
I thought I wouldn't like the series, especially since everyone said it was better than the Throne of Glass series. I even read the book cover and I didn't seem too into it. However, I started reading the series, and I loved it! I loved Rhysand since the beginning and I really feel that the character development was really good.
From someone who doesn't like the Throne of Glass series (I'm sorry I just never got into it) I wasn't expecting to like this but I loved it! :D

[spoilers removed]"
In a response to the Minx and Cordelianne. Do not read until you have finished the series!
Also, does anyone else struggle with the pronunciation in this series, because for me unless its laid out in the beginning of the series like Fey-ruh, I am hopeless as far as changing a word from what it sounds like in my head? :)

I have a question; how does one have a spoiler-y comment and have it show if you click the show spoiler link? I attempted that, and it did not work.
Click on add (some html is ok) at the right of this typing box. Look for the one that says spoiler, copy the format they use there and fill in what you want to say on the dots. It can be that the spoilers does not work on the mobile phone app, but they should work on the real website. Also you can only see the spoiler in the original and not in the onces they link back to that spoiler. I hope this helps :)

also, do you mind if i (or you) change the overall topic to cover the whole series? it would just kinda be weird (and bother me and my ocd) to have a thread for each book haha
