Anna Catharina I read the first book some months ago. It was okay but not overwhelming. There are a lot of other books and series I enjoyed more.

I read Death of an Avid Reader awhile back, not realizing it was well into a series until after I had committed to read and review it. It was ok, but not really my thing, although that may have been due to jumping in mid-series. Since then, I've wondered if I should go back to read book #1 and see if that makes a difference. But so many series first books are less-than-stellar, I'm hesitant.
