Cory Doctorow will be with us this week to record an interview about his new book Walkaway and more.

What should we ask him?

message 2: by Silvana (new)

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1814 comments I have not read anything from him but would like to know if I am going to start doing that, according to him, which book should be the first (i.e. would be the perfect intro to his other works)?

Jenny (Reading Envy) (readingenvy) | 2898 comments Because of his work with the EFF and other similar groups, I'd like to know what he finds most frightening about the current political situation (and that can be anywhere since last I knew he was living in Berlin.) What should we most concerned about and/or attentive to, as far as privacy and internet stuff go?

Mark (markmtz) | 2822 comments Disney has filed a patent for huggable humanoid robots. Whither goes the Magic Kingdom once maximum hugging efficiency has been achieved?

Mark (markmtz) | 2822 comments Ooops. I guess we missed the deadline. Just listened to #292 and the Supremes have already interviewed Mr. Doctorow.

David H. (bochordonline) Honestly, we don't always get AMA threads in a timely manner, let alone for us to read and respond--the thread-for-questions they did for Brittany Curran was only posted like 4 hours before their interview. Meanwhile, I think the Brian McClellan thread was posted a full week in advance.

I know it's probably subject to the whims of when they can schedule interviews and with what notice, but it sucks when there's so little time--they only ended up having 2 questions "from the audience" for Brittany Curran, and one of those they had to get from Twitter.

:-(

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1814 comments Yep, would be useful to know the deadline.
