Sara I have looked into this series before, I heard that Rachel Cain was a good writer. So it seemed kind of interesting, then one day at work I had the series given to me by a coworker. I was just curious to see who else has read these books and what opinions everyone had on them!

Becky ♡The Bookworm♡ Hi Sara,

I recently finished the first book, Ill Wind, and I really liked it. I can't speak for the rest of the series, but the first book is more urban fantasy than PNR. I thought it was very original and a nice change from shifters and vampires. Some of the scientific details were over my head, but it didn't affect the quality of the story for me. The story builds momentum and a series of flashbacks are mixed into the current action, but it's easy to follow and the flashbacks weave the plot together.

Like all books, one person loves it, another thinks it's terrible, but in the end only you can decide. If you've been given the series I'd say give it a chance. Good luck!

I feel like this series is great. I was reading through them so fast that i would start over waiting for a new one to be released. The only book I'm not a fan of is the last one. I do think it's mainly because i didn't want the series to come to an end... But it's over none the less and the ending kind of makes sense so i can't be mad.

Joanne Moyer I read the first 5 or 6 in the series some years ago and really enjoyed them if that helps

Robin I finished this series last year. You learn a lot about the weather and meteorology in the first couple of books. (I didn't understand a lot of it.) But the story is solid and interesting. I especially liked the Djinn.

Kat I started out really liking the series and then dropped off after the first few books. I just don't like when you go through an entire book and nothing good/positive happens for the main character. That was this series for me.

Hasini | bibliosini I'm reading this right now and it's really good, in my opinion! I think you should read it!
