The Jolly Good Reading Society discussion

I'm starting this thread a bit early so we all have a long time to think about which books we would like to read next. Please nominate anything that you think will interest the group. You can nominate as many as you like :)
The nominations will close midnight Saturday 5th July and the poll will start the following day.

The Willows is available for free on Kobo but I'm not sure about Kindle prices. I intend to read it on my journey to Budapest this summer, I just hope it's not too scary!

I've been meaning to read it for a while, and it would be nice to have some company :)

I'm in a bit of a reading 'slump' at the moment so I'm going to nominate books that I know I have to read anyway but that I would love to read along with other people.

Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

Ah, Frankenstein. Great nomination, Charlotte. I second it. I also want to read this. It's one of the classics I mentioned in a video earlier this year. I can't believe I haven't read it yet.

Yeah. I know. That's a lot, but there were about 100 books that survived my recent donation-athon and I'm more excited than ever to get to all of them.
