General- Introduce Yourselves!
Hello Andie, let me just start by saying I'm excited to have the chance to re-read this book and have discussions. Excellent idea! My name is Renee. I am new to Goodreads. This will be the first group I joined :). I graduated with my B.S in secondary English Education in 2011. However, I am currently the store manager of a shoe store. The past few years I have neglected reading, reading just 3 or 4 books a year. I joined Goodreads in the attempt to rekindle my love of literature. So if you have any good book recommendations, I'm all ears!
Hello!!My name is Patty! I was previously a journalism student but I'm switching over to Business - Marketing come January. I'm a huge book lover, but aren't we all? I have a book blog on wordpress called "imaginativeminds", I also have a Youtube channel that I'm taking a hiatus from. I re-read Pride & Prejudice every year and I'm excited to be able to discuss it with others! Looking forward to chatting with you all! :)

If you start a booktube channel, be sure to let us all know and link it here! I'm sure we'd all love to follow it. Chocolate, hugs and coffee are a winning combination, lets face it!
Welcome, Emme! Hope you managed to find the time to join us =) it will last from 1st-31st August so there is no pressure to keep up if you are busy, plenty of time.
Hi everyone! I'm Emily, and I'm a young adult book blogger at Books & Cleverness. I'm a Jane Austen newbie (this absolutely needs to change!), so I'm hoping to participate in this read-a-long to kickstart my Austen reading!
Hi! I'm a book blogger at Confessions of a Book Geek on wordpress. I graduated in 2012 with a degree in Communications and Public Relations and rediscovered my love for reading after reading nothing but assigned textbooks for four years! I always want to read more classics but lack the motivation to see it through, new and shiny books distract me! Looking forward to my first group/book club type read!
Hello everyone, late to the happy party but my name is Aida and I am one of the few who started reading P&P but quit because I couldn't keep up with the writing, eep! I'm a 21-year old journalism student from The Netherlands with a degree in desktoppublishing (basically designing flyers/posters/magazines etc) and I hope to make this experience an awesome one! :)
Hi everybody! My name is Sylvia, I'm 21, and this fall I will be going into my last year as a Biology major.
I have loved reading ever since I was little and some of my favorite genres include historical fiction, classics, memoirs, and science fiction.
I am actually reading both Emma and P&P right now, but I doubt I will finish it anytime soon. If I do finish in July, I will definitely participate in the discussions!
Hello everyone. My name is Alicia and I run the book blog A Kernel of Nonsense. I'm a huge P&P fan and just recently reread it earlier this year, but am always up for another round of my favorite book.
Hi everyone. I'm Gen and blog on Mrs Holpepper: Bookworm on Wordpress. I'm a primary school teacher and have a degree in English Lit and a PGDip in Children's Literature. I got into Austen when I read Sense and Sensibility for my A-levels and really enjoy reading her work.I haven't read Pride and Prejudice for about 11 years but I did read the Marvel Graphic Novel version a year or so ago and it really was good!! I've been meaning to re-read Pride and Prejudice for a while but never really got around to it so I look forward to doing it here!
(I've also had a goodreads account for ages and not done anything with it so it's good to have a go and work out how this thing works).
Hi I'm Ashley and like a few others I am also a book blogger at Falling Down The Book Hole on wordpress. I am a recent college grad just trying to figure out my life and resorting to books to solve all of my problems! I recently got my masters in library and information science and I currently take care of the children's and teen section in a bookstore.I have read a smattering of Austen's work, but I only think I've read Pride and Prejudice once. Now that I think about it, I might not even own a copy- gasp! Anyway, I am excited to take part in this! This is my first time participating actively in an online discussion like this, so I am quite pumped.
Genevieve- I am excited to hear that the graphic novel was good! I feel like those kind of things are always so hit or miss.

I was thinking about Shannon .I who is also in this group a.k.a Cozyteareads on Booktube. Anyway I was thinking about how much she loves Jane Austen books so I decided that I should read a Jane Austen book since I value her opinion. I often read most books she recommends, but this time I decided that I need to read this book. Can't wait to start reading!
Shannon, same here! After seeing Shannon from Cozyteareads talk about the book, I needed to find out why this book is talked about so much. Now is the perfect opportunity :)
