Chapter 4 - (view spoiler)[ Does he really think that Mrs Wooley will be coming back? There's been hail and now an earthquake. She said it would only take her an hour to get to there, but it's been all night. I doubt she's coming back. (hide spoiler)]

I'm taking my copy to work with me so hopefully I'll get through a few chapters there :)

this is one of those books where I want to know what happens, but the whole thing is just a bit too slow, and there's a bit too much information about inconsequential stuff.

Yeah, at the moment it is quite slow.

At least it's not as bad as Feed though!

I remember finding it slow Abbie but I heard the second book is better. I'll be starting when I get home from work :)
