Oh, now this is a toughie! lol I'll break it down to 2017 and non.2017
- "American Eclipse" by David Baron
- "What the Dead Leave Behind" by Rosemary Simpson
-And an honorable mention for "Radium Girls" by Kate Moore, because it's a full, fascinating and important history, although I feel it could have used a wee bit of pruning.
Other Years
- "The Martian" by Andy Weir 💗💗💗
-"We Were Liars" by E.Lockhart
-" The Truth is a Cave in the Mountain" by Neil Gaiman
The only one I've read is "We Were Liars" so thank you for the good recommendations. I'm looking forward to voting in the Goodreads Choice Awards in November. Here's a link to last year's winners: https://www.goodreads.com/choiceaward...

What do you think are the best books of the year so far? This could mean books published this year or even an older book that you discovered this year.
My vote goes to "The Stranger in the Woods" by Michael Finkel. Read it in one day and was blown away!
