From the Publisher:

It was a meal worthy of the age, the house and the season . . .

This beautiful edition of The Poldark Cookery Book, by author Winston Graham's wife, Jean M. Graham, presents the recipes and the wherewithal for you to cook up your very own Poldark Christmas. Along with dozens of festive treats inspired by the Poldark novels, here you will find ample homely recipes for traditional West Country fare. From Figgy ’Obbin Pudding to the Nampara staple of Baked Pilchards, there are both inventively thrifty and sumptuously indulgent recipes aplenty that will delight fans of the Poldark series starring Aidan Turner and food enthusiasts alike.

It's a re-release of a book originally published in 1982.

For other Poldark-inspired recipes, you may wish to check out Inspired by Poldark

Personally, I've also enjoyed Recipes from a Cornish Kitchen on Poldark watching nights!

Tanya - I have a copy of the original which, among other things, has all the recipes for the Trenwith Christmas 1787 and those for when Demelza cooked for the Bassetts on their visit to Nampara. I think it is a gem. I have ordered the new edition out of curiosity to see if it's the same.

My new copy arrived today. It's a lovely book - the same as the first edition only hardback but it is larger print. I shall keep it.
