Cynthia Myers was 2 years old when Michael, 6, killed her older sister Judith with a butcher knife. Michael was sent away and Cynthia's parents were killed in an automobile crash. Cynthia was sent away to a foster home where the Strode's adopted her and renamed her Laurie to protect her identity.
