When Mickey learns that the victim was his own former client, a prostitute he thought he had rescued and put on the straight and narrow path, he knows he is on the hook for this one. He soon finds out that she was back in LA and back in the life. Far from saving her, Mickey may have been the one who put her in danger.
Haunted by the ghosts of his past, Mickey must work tirelessly and bring all his skill to bear on a case that could mean his ultimate redemption or proof of his ultimate guilt.

Giselle Dallinger was really Gloria Dayton. When Mickey arranged her deal, unbeknownst to him was a connected deal with the DEA to rat out Moya. She planted a gun in his apartment, which got him a life sentence. Marco killed her when she contacted him after having been served by Sly, Jr. Lankford was the man in the hat who followed her from the Beverly Wilshire hotel and got her address. Lankford was under Marco’s thumb from an earlier arrangement where he accepted money to abandon a murder investigation.
Earl gets killed when Mickey’s car is sent over a railing at Marco’s order.
Lankford shoots himself in court while on the stand after Mickey showed him the tape of him and Marco trying to set up Stratton Sterghos. Marco escapes but months later Mickey gets an anonymous email, presumably from Moya, showing his tortured, brutalized dead body.
Moya was released from prison since it was proven that he was set up. He was promptly deported for being an undesirable.
Sewell was the inmate who attacked Andre. His defense attorney was purported to be seeing Marco who arranged the attack.
Andre La Cosse is freed from jail and all charges dropped. Mickey got a $2.4 million settlement for him and got his hospital bills paid for all of his medical injuries.
Maggie is moving to the Ventura DA’s office, heading up the Digital Crimes Unit.
Mickey is in a relationship with Kendall. He has a decent relationship with Hayley. (hide spoiler)]
