This is where you can discuss the book along the way; whether you want to chat about the book pre-reading it or discuss along the way, it all goes here! There will be a separate thread for spoiler-filled final thoughts/reviews once you have finished the book.

Ohh I’ve read this one already, but I liked it! I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone else thinks about it!
I read this one over the summer. Didn't vote for it because I wanted to read soomething new, but I liked it. It was very good. Hopefully everyone enjoys it and the discussion is a good one.
This one's been on my shelf and I'm about to finish the second in the "Under the Bridge" series so it's about perfect timing! Hooray!
This has been on my TBR list for a long time. I cannot wait to read it finally! I hope it is as good as I want it to be.
This book is one of my favorites (I think it's actually my second favorite) for 2017. I hope you all enjoy!!!
So glad you picked this book as I never get to read and review the YA books for the store. I just got the audio book from Libro.fm and can't wait to get started.
I’m so excited to see how many people are either looking forward to this one or have already enjoyed it!

Lynn wrote: "I just started Descent, so it’ll be a bit before I get to this one. ☹️👍"I loved reading the Descent thread. A lot of action there, lol. Looking forward to your thoughts. I liked it :)
Lisa wrote: "is anyone listening to the audio book? I just started today!"I was disappointed that my library didn't have the audio. Do you like the narration? Who are the readers? I'm guessing there's more than one?
I'm so excited for this! I put a hold on it from my library, I can't wait to get it and dig in!!
I just finished this morning. It was a fast read. Definitely a fun book. The ending wasn’t a total shock but the journey there was enjoyable enough that it was still definitely a worthwhile read.
I'm waiting for the book to arrive at my library... its been in transit for days.... All I want to do is read it already lol. I have been waiting since the moment we voted for the book. lol
Just started last night! I like to mix in some YA books throughout the year and this one is interesting so far :) It has the feeling of an Agatha Christie whodunit.
I accidentally read the wrong thread for this book and was reading a post and saw something I shouldn't have about Simon. :((((( I'm still going to continue to read this because I have been wanting to read it ever since we decided to vote for our December read.
Jen wrote: "I put my hold on it from our library but it's not looking too good I will get it before the end of December..... We shall see!"Same here, there is a long list of people before me :(

That good eh??!! I am planning on starting it ASAP but I have to wait for 70 other people at the library to enjoy it first. Yikes....

Ugh. I just read an email from Goodreads that had a summary of new topics I've missed in this group. Totally read something I shouldn't have and didn't stop in time before realizing what I was reading, and that it was from the "Discussion" thread!! I'm totally bummed now :(
Amanda wrote: "Ugh. I just read an email from Goodreads that had a summary of new topics I've missed in this group. Totally read something I shouldn't have and didn't stop in time before realizing what I was read..."Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that amanda 😩

Yup! The narrators are Kim Mai Guest, MacLeod Andrews, Shannon McManus, Robbie Daymond, all of which are pleasant to listen to. I like how the person who is voicing Cooper hits on his southern accent too haha
Amanda wrote: "Ugh. I just read an email from Goodreads that had a summary of new topics I've missed in this group. Totally read something I shouldn't have and didn't stop in time before realizing what I was read..."Amanda I did the same thing, but I am still reading it are you?
Candice wrote: "Amanda wrote: "Ugh. I just read an email from Goodreads that had a summary of new topics I've missed in this group. I guess we both learned our lesson to be more careful! :)
Amanda wrote: "Ugh. I just read an email from Goodreads that had a summary of new topics I've missed in this group. Totally read something I shouldn't have and didn't stop in time before realizing what I was read..."I had the exact same thing happen. I'm not entirely sure I love the early discussion thread. I found out who did it before I even started reading by accident because of a spoiler post I hadn't mean to read. Now I'm like, uh, yeah, I think I would have liked this book...
Belinda wrote: "Amanda wrote: "Ugh. I just read an email from Goodreads that had a summary of new topics I've missed in this group. Totally read something I shouldn't have and didn't stop in time before realizing ..."I’m glad you guys mentioned the email updates; I don’t receive them so I wasn’t aware what they included. Maybe we’ll have to ask people to include their spoiler related comments formatted in a spoiler tag that can be clicked to be viewed. The reason we are keeping the threads separate is we had a good number of complaints on how the one thread was too muddled; there was a lot of general chat about the book and they couldn’t separate that from the final discussions/Reviews once they completed the book. Obviously we can’t please everyone but this is a valid issue that needs fixing. We’ll look into it and thanks for letting us know!
I am excited to read this novel. So so so bad, but unfortunately I’m on a waitlist at my library to get my hands on this baby. So I may be a little behind
Chelsea, maybe we can change the thread post names to "pre" and "post" so we don't get confused between "discussion" and "banter"? That might be an easy solution. Even if we get an e-mail, we'll know not to look if the label is a little clearer.
Am I the only one not really getting into this book? I like it, but just think it's OK. Maybe I anticipated too much because of all the hype? I normally like YA, yet I am also wondering if because it has to do so much with social media, and I am 54 maybe I just cannot relate to it.
You're not alone, Gladys. It's ok. I'm not normally a YA reader, but I heard The Breakfast Club and geeked out. It's way more Gossip Girl than I expected.
So I’m glad I’m not the only one, Belinda. For example YA, I loved The Fault In The Stars. YA, isn’t my #1 go to but I enjoy it. I really wanted to get so engaged in this. I’m still trudging along though.
I just started listening to this book today. I am super excited because I have had it for so long and have wanted to read it. I will listen and read at the same time. I hope it is as good as I have been wanting it to be all this time!
Hi everyone! I just joined this group - Is One Of Us Is Lying the December read? Or just the current read? I’m just curious about the timeframe before a new book is selected. :)
