I've added two books to our shelves that serve as helpful references to mythology and religion. They are The Greek Myths by Robert Graves and The Oxford Companion to Classical Literature, edited by M.C. Howatson.

This much said Bullfinch and Edith Hamilton are vastly superior anthologists of greek mythology.

Thanks, Mike and Czarny! I'll add Bullfinch and Hamilton as well to our shelves. The more resources the merrier!

For the completion of the Trojan Cycle, see Hesiod, the Homeric Hymns and Homerica edited by Hugh G. Evelyn-White, published in 1914. This is available to view at http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/348. Contained are the existing fragments of the complete Epic Cycle.
A good, short refresher on some tidbits about Achilles as well as a few more I could not have recalled, even if ever encountered:https://www.britannica.com/topic/Achi...
Helps with understanding why Thetis had to marry a mortal, who was the mother of Achilles's son, .... In some aspects, may not entirely agree with other accounts (e.g., number of children Thetis destroyed).
