This is one of my favorite series, but not many people have read the books. It is hard to find someone who enjoys these books, even though I made a group just for this series.
“I’m lying on a Star Wars bedspread,” said a dry voice behind them, “Will I ever be able to look myself in the eye again?”
They all turned.
“By the fact that I’m not on Rashah,” Ronan said, looking about him, “but instead apparently in suburban hell, and in contact with this dubious cultural artifact, I take it we won?”
Quote from Wizards at War, Ronan is one of my favorite characters.

I remember that I read the first two of them a couple years ago. I was so sad when Fred (That was the name of the white hole, right?) died. First time I got sad at a book. I think I wasn't a huge fan of book two though. Then again, I was obsessed with another series at the time, and reading the second one was taking me away from rereading that series. . . .
I know. Yes that is his name. I was sad too. I read it a while ago, and apparently told my dad I didn't like the first one, than picked it up again later and loved it.
I don't remember much about them other than liking the first one and sobbing at the end and then being bored out of my wits at the second. I know one of my friends at school really liked the series. She owns all the books (and she doesn't own many books, seeing as she usually gets them from the library or borrows mine).
I'd read them again to see if I like them better now, but I just lack the interest in doing so these days.
