The Jolly Good Reading Society discussion

I'm just making folders for each of the John Green readalongs that we're doing until the end of the year so we can discuss them seperately.

I'd say no spoilers as usual just to keep it open to everyone but feel free to discuss Looking for Alaska here, whether you've read it previously or you are taking part in the readalong =)

I've just started this book. I like the writing style so far but haven't read enough to comment on the story yet.

I've finished the book and unfortunately could only give it 3 stars.
The story started out okay but as it progressed I found it was getting too predictable and mundane. The characters were all shallow and not very likeable. I just didn't care what happened by the end of this book and I think I'll soon forget it.
Oh well, I know John Green does improve so it's not put me off reading the rest of his books.
