What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I need help finding this book. I can hardly remember anything about it beside the basic plot. A kid gets kidnapped and the book starts with his being returned back to his childhood home. He was gone for a long time so he come back at a high school age. he has a hard time acclimating with his family because of his abusive captivity. the captor is male. Towards the end? the MC is out for a hair cute with his dad and bumps into the captor. The MC has long hair for a good portion of the book and scars on his back from being beat with a belt. thats all i remember sorry.
