Little Rover has quite the adventure...

I have no idea what this story is about other than a very little dog going far away from home and getting a new name.

I will be late for this due to my office workload. I hope to start next week, sorry about that.

Just started it. So far it's been super cute!

Finished! I loved it, it was so cute and heartwarming and whimsical.

Also I loved that Roverandom almost visited the land of the elves. This is especially remarkable if you consider that Tolkien originally started wrtiting the stories of the first age of Middle-Earth as an english mythology. And Uin says that they`re not allowed to go there -> mortals are not allowed to sail to Valinor in Lotr and the Silmarillion either. (hide spoiler)]

I went in blind and having no prior knowledge (bcuz I can be shockingly ignorant of even the most wellknown stuff)....aaaaand a children's story! A canine Pinocchio...how delightful!

I like this image for this sentence tho' it doesn't really suit the tone of a children's book.
