What are your thoughts on this book being made into a movie? Do you think it will be any good?

I’m excited for the movie. It has the potential to be a great movie. I also heard they’ve already cast Leo as Holmes 👍🏻

I feel like parts of this book were almost written with a movie adaptation specifically in mind? Just the way some scenes are set up, and the way it cuts back and forth is more movie like but kind of clunky in the book. But maybe that just means it will end up being better as a movie?

I mentioned in the reviews thread that I felt like this book tried to be two things. I think the movie adaptation is supposed to focus on the Holmes storyline, and I actually expect to enjoy it more than I did the book itself, just because the book as a whole isn't really focused on Holmes and his crimes. Also I love Leo and his work is amazing.
