I don't remember most of the book. The hero is from a family that owns oil in TX. The heroine plays softball. Both are in college. After they spend the night together, the hero goes to play her game. The hero shows and introduces himself to the heroine's family against her wishes. He then takes her and her family to a restaurant. The hero owns a truck and motorcycle.
