It is. Rainbow is just kind of busy right now, but it's happening. She is getting unknowns to play Eleanor and Park.

Ahh! I love this book! I will be so happy if this turns into a movie! I love the 80's!!

It's not a matter of if... it's a matter of when. Everything is in place to start once Rainbow's schedule is clear. She wants to be active in the production.

Thats actually kinda nice to hear about an author that wants to be active in the making of the movie that is based on their book

I'm also glad she's casting unknowns! Better than having the same actress and actor play all of the main roles in every movie...

I am too. I love when unknowns are cast in movies. It's like Christmas.
