Interesting choices, Colleen! I assume you know that 'The Belfast Girl' author is a member of GRI, although she hasn't been active in recent years by the looks of things. I love 'The International' - and you'll be able to check out the group read thread somewhere in the ether. Enjoy!

I've had the The International since it was a group way back when and never got around to reading , now I will :)
I hope to read books I have had on my shelves for a while in my challenge too. I am sure there are some real gems on there!
I may have bitten more off than I realized . It's easy to finf books set in Belfast and Dublin but I have found that the setting is Ireland but where in Ireland who knows... I have found some novels ,none of which I own , that might fit ,,, not worry about Dublin .The Heather Blazing ,Hungry Hill,Falling for a Dancer and Fairfieldsany thoughts or suggestions would be wonderful.
I think I finished my list but I might change some as I goI might have bent the rules a bit I seem to be making pit stops at places that are easier to find novels place and then read different time periods. so here goes.
6.The Coroner's Daughter
7.Rebel Sisters
8,The Country Girls Trilogy
9.Unraveling Oliver
10.Falling for a Dancer
11.Troubles
12.Fairfields
13.A Swift Pure Cry
14.The Blackwater Lightship
15.The Heather Blazing
16.Holding
Cphe wrote: "Troubles was excellent and I went on and read the other two books in the trilogy"I hope I like it ,it's the one I most nervous of lol .It's good to now that you really liked it . I didn't know it was the first of a trilogy ,if all goes well with Troubles I will add the other two to the TBR list.
I finished The House Where it Happened and I really liked it . The next one I will be reading is Name upon Name
I found another novel that fits my challenge it takes place in Wicklow and the author is Irish The Secrets of Roscarbury Hall. I don't know if I will insert this between Unraveling Oliver and Falling for a Dancer or replace one of them .
I finished Name upon Name and it was an interesting read but I feel it was YA/ middle school so it was a bit sugar-coated and questions went unanswered but so how it was still a good read. I gave it 4 stars . Next book I will be reading for this challenge is The International

Colleen, Wilkinson is known as a YA author, so I can understand how you might feel that issues might have been sugar coated. Must admit that I have never tried any of her novels. As for the Patterson, please don't pay any heed to Anne Enright's quote about the book being 'the best book about the Troubles', because it takes place before the conflict even begins...

Thanks Allan
I finished The International and Allan thank you for telling me that its not about the troubles .I went into not knowing what to expect and it was wonderful . The book is really about the last really normal day before The Troubles started . I recommend it .I will start The Belfast Girl soon.
Glad to read that you enjoyed the book for what it was, as opposed to what Anne Enright deemed it to be on the blurb of the later edition!
I just finished The Belfast Girl and really enjoyed it.Loved how it sucked me and I did not want to put it down. It was quite a ride ! I gave it 5 stars :)
I finished The Lost and really loved it . It kept me guessing right to the end .It has a cliff hanger at the end and I will try to read the next in the series soon, I am now on to The Coroner's Daughter
