Deborah Johns | 1 comments I love big books - probably because I am a fast reader and a short book is over before I barely get into it. I love lots of description, development of characters and lots of story. That being said I was wondering if anyone in this group would like to share some of their favorite really big books? Some of mine are Swan Song by Robert McCammon and The Stand (The unedited version) by Stephen King as well as most of the books James Michener wrote.

FirnMamaMakes Hi! I just finished a big book I very much enjoyed: Cutting For Stone by Abraham Verghese...which reminded me how much I liked Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts and The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. I read both of them many tears ago and they could defiantly use a re-read. :)
