The interviewed culls 5 basic points from JP thought. Anyone who has not watched this could list the 5 here and from there we could begin to sort the ideas into a structure - and to link from there to other readings.

Ya. I watched it. It was good interview.

I wish I had written down the 5. Anybody write them down?

The 5 strongest points of JP’s philosophy on “how to be in the world” according to Geenstijl:

1) The centrality of the archetypical hero's myth
2) The central role of the Logos during the hero's narrative
3) Orienting yourself towards the highest possible good you can conceive (it’s not like you have anything better to do)
4) Making the right sacrifices when bargaining with the future (to “walk with God”)
5) Minimize your persona, cultivate your essence, and live in its closest possible proximity

Ah, excellent. I'd like to pause to discuss and maybe tweak them:
1. Hero myth central due to its BEING "God"/the ideal. This myth is what sets it all in motion.
2. Hero method: to speak and bring potential into being
3. Do it, don't just know it.
4. Remember God is on your side - makes it easier to do #3
5. Identify with the doing of 1-4, not the smallness of ego ID.
