Does anybody know the true order of this series anymore? I need a little help because I read the first few books of the series, and then I got sidetracked with all of the lovely Stephen King stuff that has come out in the past couple of years. I would LOVE to get back into the series, but I don't remember where I left off or what order the books are in. Could somebody please help a poor wizarding soul that is trying to get back in the swing of things?

You can always look at Butcher's website. He has all the books listed there. What's more, he keeps up with the chronology for his short stories: http://www.jim-butcher.com/books/dres...
Well, here's the series page - but that includes the graphic novel(s) and short stories. https://www.goodreads.com/series/4034...
Here's the list that I have of the 'main' stories and Side Jobs.
Storm Front
Fool Moon
Grave Peril
Summer Knight
Death Masks
Blood Rites
Dead Beat
Proven Guilty
White Night
Small Favor
Turn Coat
Changes
Ghost Story
Cold Days
Skin Game
Side Jobs stories:
“Restoration of Faith” Takes place before Storm Front
“Vignette” Takes place between Death Masks and Blood Rites
“Something Borrowed” Takes place between Dead Beat and Proven Guilty.
“It’s My Birthday Too” Takes place between White Night and Small Favor.
“Heorot” Takes place between White Night and Small Favor
“Day Off” Takes place between Small Favor and Turn Coat.
Backup Takes place between Small Favor and Turn Coat
The Warrior Takes place between Small Favor and Turn Coat
“Last Call” Takes place between Small Favor and Turn Coat
“Love Hurts” Takes place between Turn Coat and Changes.
Aftermath — Takes place after Changes
There is also the GR series page for it: https://www.goodreads.com/series/4034...Though that can be a bit scary at first glance. It's pretty accurate though.
Becks, if you see cake, pie, or cupcakes today I insist you indulge! That was so sweet of you to write (type) out that list!
I already had it typed up when I gave it to a friend. But I'll totally have a cupcake for my awesome copy & paste skills. :)
Wow! Thank you all for the list! Now I can get back into the swing of things in time for vacation next week! :)

Comment and silly question.I read Storm Front and Fool Moon, which were okay but didn't wow me. I thought about moving on, but I decided to try book three, and Grave Peril took off and was both more exciting and more complex. So, I'm with the program.
My silly question: Where do I find the Side Job short stories? I searched a couple of them on Amazon and nothing came up.
Side Jobs: Stories From the Dresden Files is a book of short stores, published in a bunch.http://www.amazon.com/Side-Jobs-Stori...
You should be able to find Side Jobs as a collection in most bookstores: BN: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/side-...
