I was seriously let down by this book. It ended up being my least favorite of the series. It seemed like all they did was talk about the battle and plan for the battle and go to the battle, but then there wasn't much of a battle and no real loss to speak of. Plus Mor's little confession bothered me because it was totally out of place and, in my opinion, a total cop out. The beginning was great but it fizzled out and I struggled to maintain interest after that.
Oh no! I was looking forward to this book and hearing this makes me nervous to continue the series!!!!
I agree that there was a ton more f battle planning and sex but I did like it. I didn’t think I was going to be as enthralled with this series as the rest of the world but once I got to the end of the first book I was hooked. I thought the second book was the best book out of the 3. I’m excited to see what the next one is going to be about. Maybe Mor or Nessa?
I didn't hate it, I still rated it three stars. I just think for a book that long not much actually happened. It also didn't wrap up in a way that seemed like the final book of a series. Like you still have to buy the next three books to feel like it's complete. The next book is still about Feyre, which was also disappointing to me. I was really hoping it would be about Lucien or Azriel, and I believe it's still full length, so I'm just calling it book four at this point.
I loved this book, although I do agree that it dragged out a bit. I have enjoyed this series, but I do admit that I am seriously not looking forward to the end of the Throne of Glass series. I like love those books, have read all of them more than once, in fact I should reread them in order to be ready for the end.

Summary:
Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's manoeuvrings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit – and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords – and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.
