my book review is Michael Vey: the rise of the Elgen, in my opinion, I thought this was a great book that kept my interest flowing throughout, a quick summary of the plot is michael tries to stop the elgen, the evil organization led by the villain Dr hatch because they're trying to take over the world and they have his mother held captive. there were some patches in the book that didn't flow very well and made me lose my interest once or twice. this book took takes quite a while to get into but when you finally do it does not disappoint. Michael vey is a very interesting character who has incredible powers but not only that his friends have very cool powers as well which makes you not lose you intertest . The clever thing this book does is that it makes michael develop his powers and it makes you curious what he can achieve at the end which makes you want to read more.
The villain Dr hatch is complex which makes you curious .you like him but hate him at the same time. He makes you wonder if he's all that bad at times because he's pretending to be commendable to a group of kids but very quickly you figure out his true character.
Overall I think this book was good and I would read but there were a few moments, I lost my interest but in general, it was a great book.
