Mott is on a quest to free Imogen who has been captured by the enemy, Amarinda, Tobias and Fink are on a quest for reinforcement and Rosen is holding off the enemy elsewhere. Just have to hope Sage gets to where he needs to go in time and with little issues (HA)

Ch34 (view spoiler)[Well crap. It appears that Jaron’s luck has run out ._.

Mott’s got a potentially fatal wound, Roden has been captured by the enemy, most of his men have died or been wounded in the current battle and now they’re all scattered and hiding in the woods.

At this stage it seems his best hope is for the pirates to uphold their oath and come to the rescue... (hide spoiler)]

I’m so glad that Roden turned out to be Harlowe’s lost son - Harlowe is such a nice guy and he deserved that bit of happiness at being reunited with the son he lost c: (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7 (view spoiler)[ Jaron grew up in a hurry. It’s strange to see him so responsible and thoughtful. But I have a feeling that we will see Sage very soon as he breaks into that camp. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15 (view spoiler)[ It’s just always expected for Jaron to always have a plan. Even if that plan has no honor or finess. It might even be crazy but hey it works 🤣 (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 22 (view spoiler)[ Yeah I saw that coming. I think they go well together. Tobias and Amarinda. Tobias was never good at keeping secrets. He was always more worried about Amarinda than Jaron and he volunteered to escort her through Avenia. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 25 (view spoiler)[ I like the depiction of women in this series. Witty enough to survive and strong enough to hold down the forth. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[ I liked this series and even this book. I was always wondering about how Jaron was going to make something out of nothing. Sometimes I wasn’t even sure if he was going to make it.

It’s strange. I feel bad for Conner but again I don’t. He definitely was not the easiest character to like but also not a character you hate. I’m glad he redeemed himself in the end and that his loyalty really was to Carthya.

I’m amazed Jaron thought that far about the pirates and at Farthenwood.

I liked most of the ending. I like that Kippenger became king and Vargan is gone. I liked Tobias and Amarinda together. I’m glad that Roden has someone now: Harlowe! (hide spoiler)]

I also predicted that she was still alive. It's too bad that she wasn't as present in this book than in the other books. I like that we saw more of Amarinda but I wanted to see more of Imogen in this book.

Ch. 20 (view spoiler)[ Ugh I was so mad at Jaron for this chunk of the book. What he did was so stupid and if it had been real life he would've of been dead smh. Ugh freaking Jaron. Also, I don't really think Imogen is dead. (hide spoiler)]

Also, I was laughing so hard when Mott said he was one of the weakest men in the army. I love how protective he is. Also why the fuck is Conner still alive!? Like he has caused nothing but problems since book 1 and he should be dead ugh I hate him. (hide spoiler)]

Oh jeez, yeah there's no way I could do that either ._. Heights I am *technically* okay with, but only in situations where there is a minuscule chance I will fall to me death :P

For example: Plane? Fine. Balcony with low railing? Not so fine.
