Kaje Harper | 17398 comments Running With Lions Running With Lions by Julian Winters - coming June 7th, about gay teen soccer players

"Bloomington High School Lions' star goalie, Sebastian Hughes, should be excited about his senior year: His teammates are amazing and he's got a coach who doesn't ask anyone to hide their sexuality. But when his estranged childhood best friend Emir Shah shows up to summer training camp, Sebastian realizes the team's success may end up in the hands of the one guy who hates him. Determined to reconnect with Emir for the sake of the Lions, he sets out to regain Emir's trust. But to Sebastian's surprise, sweaty days on the pitch, wandering the town's streets, and bonding on the weekends sparks more than just friendship between them."

Benjamin Appleby-Dean (benjaminappleby-dean) | 69 comments The Stickman's Legacy by Benjamin Appleby-Dean The Stickman's Legacy released June 1st

Mary never knew her father until he died and brought his enemies to her doorstep. Searching his house for answers, she unearths an ancient nightmare and is drawn into a world of corporate magicians, subterranean kingdoms and living architecture, all of whom have history with the Stickman - and their own sinister agendas for his daughter.

As a secret war breaks out across London with her at the centre, Mary finds fragments of her own past resurfacing, and has to understand the true nature of her legacy before it's too late...

THE STICKMAN'S LEGACY is a dark fairy-tale about the stories we tell ourselves.

Alexander Eberhart My debut release June 4th! It's called THERE GOES SUNDAY SCHOOL.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

In sixteen-year-old Mike Hernandez’s life, only one thing is clear: Gay is NOT okay. His family’s life revolves around the church, a church run by the vocally intolerant Pastor Myers, so Mike has resolved to spend his life in the closet. His only escape—besides the occasional, anonymous gay make-out session—is his art. He pours his complicated emotions into risqué drawings he keeps in a secret sketchbook. A sketchbook he carries everywhere.

When his sketchbook goes missing in the middle of Sunday school, Mike is sure his life is over. He’s going to be outed, ostracized by their community, condemned by the pastor, maybe even homeless. What’s worse, the pastor’s son, Chris, suddenly seems hell-bent on adopting Mike and his friends and he has no idea why.

When an awkward confrontation with Chris leads to an unexpected kiss instead of a much-expected punch, Mike’s world is turned upside down. As their friendship grows and faith is questioned, Mike may be forced to choose between the comfortable life he's always lived and a chance at the love he never thought he deserved.

Brooklyn Graham | 59 comments A little late, but my first book Ivy Hall is now released and available on Amazon in e-book format. So far the responses have been positive. It's a coming of age story in the Lesbian genre, set in rural Vermont. The book explores the life of a young and gifted young woman, Ivy Hall. Events in the book culminate in broken friendships, new relationships, and treachery by an individual who had once been a friend, who then resorts to bigotry and violence to drive home his twisted ideals. Although written as a YA book, there is language, violence, and mild non-graphic sexual innuendo. I would consider it appropriate for ages 17 and up. Thank's for looking.
