In joining this review group you have agreed to review the novels assigned to you on a two month schedule. The sign up phase is over and the review stage is starting.

This is Science Fiction Review Group, which will include all types of novels classified as Science Fiction. As with other review groups, you will be expected to read and give an honest review of the book assigned to you. Assignments will be made after the group sign-up has filled.

Participants are expected to post reviews to Goodreads. If the Goodreads review is positive (three stars or higher), the review should be posted to Amazon at the same star level, if the book is available there. This makes having accounts with both Goodreads and Amazon.com a requirement.

If a reviewer and the author agree that the review should not be posted to Goodreads due to quality issues, the reviewer is relieved of the requirement of posting the review. If this occurs in the first round, the second reviewer is relieved of the requirement to read and review the book. This is entirely at the discretion of the reviewer and is not intended in any way to manipulate the rating of any book.

Contact the authors you are scheduled to review to arrange to receive a review copy of their work.

Please post to this topic, both when you receive review copies and when you post the reviews.

If you are going to be late with your review, either post to this topic as soon as possible or message the author and the moderator.

If your book has not been reviewed by the deadline for either round, contact the review group moderator. This is necessary to make certain that the review process is fair for everyone.

THE AUTHORS AND BOOKS ARE:

1 Haze Diamond-Fried Brains and Micro Chips Fried Brains and Micro Chips by Haze Diamond

William Adams Hi, All,
I am a newbie to the site and the group. Despite receiving the announcement of the group's existence only 53 minutes ago, it seems that the nominating process is already closed. Such enthusiasm! Nevertheless, I am a sci-fi author willing to read and review colleagues' work. Tell me what to do if you want my help.
Bill Adams

Thanks, L.N. My latest is out for final edit. I'd like to read the books listed here and watch how the review process works and contribute my own reviews. I'll be ready to submit for the next sci-fi cycle. Looks like there is no shortage of participants.

Sorry John, I can't add you at this stage. You need an author and book link on Goodreads to be able to join the round. If you can set up an author account, and add your book(s), then I can set you up in a round.

Can you all check to make sure there are no clashes, and if there are, can you please mention them as it makes my job a lot easier. Thank you.

message 32: by Alistair (new)

Alistair Potter | 175 comments Hi, my clashes are:

E M Swift-Hook - I have reviewed Trust a few

message 33: by K.T. (new)

K.T. Munson | 278 comments Here are my conflicts - if I missed any then the other members can let me know.

EM has read me but I don’t think this book.
Sanna has read this book.
I’ve read Theodore before but not this one.
I’ve read both Robert’s and Alister’s books they offered for this group.

That should be it! Can’t wait to get started. ☺️

E.M. Swift-Hook | 115 comments Alistair, Sanna and Theodore have all reviewed me before - but I have other books they have not read.

Alistair Potter | 175 comments A quick note for anyone looking at my Perax Frontier - the image showing for the book cover in the list above is an old one for the 'Kindle' edition. (I've not managed to work out how to enter updated detail for that format. I managed it with the 'paper' version OK though.) https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Yea just did mine, its a bit clunky and the old cover is still around. You have uploaded the new cover as a new edition, you just have to make that edition you default edition. erm.. i think
