So excited to be reading this again

This is a good book. It really gives you a feel for Afghan culture. Though, I liked A Thousand Splendid Suns even more.

Same - that was the first one i read and it is far superior

Me too Kirsten - I enjoyed both but A Thousand Splendid Suns just that little bit more.

Read it years ago. It was great. It was great on Afghan culture. It was great in describing the immigrant experience in America. The movie was great as well. Not many book movie combos are as good as the Kite Runner.

This has been on my TBR since so long! Happy that I'm finally reading it!

it is an amazing book to read again n again. becoze wen ever we read this one we find new things in our sight...

I had to read this as a freshman in college, our whole class did, I remember loving it! My library queue is too long to re-read it again this month, but I definitely will over the summer, when teaching is done.
