Foothills Book Club discussion

Good news. I have two friends who are interested in joining our book club. One is Louise who just moved to Tucson from Santa Fe and the other is a birdwatching friend, Maureen Daney. They will most likely attend the September meeting since I won't be here to introduce them in August. Heather Katz joined us at our last meeting and I hope she will continue to attend, as well.
Our little Foothills Book Club is rocking right along.

Welcome to Louise and Maureen. Look forward to meeting them in September! We're going to meet on Aug. 14th at PJ's for our next meeting. Send us your recommendations, Linda, for our next book so we can decide for our September meeting.

Here are a few suggestions to look into for Sept:

Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic
Birds Without Borders by Noah Stryker
Thirteen Moons by Charles Frazier, the author of Cold
Mountain. This was written in 2006 so not new.

Not familiar with these three, but we'll look into them.
