Eu am descoperit aseara ca Pulitzerul pentru beletristica pe 2018 s-a acordat deja si pare o carte light fara pretentii f mari asa ca probabil o voi citi. In general cartiile americanesti contemporane cu pretentii mari au esuat lamentabil din punctul meu de vedere. Castigatorul este Less de Andrew Sean Greer. O sa ma uit si la lista asta, mersi ca ai publicat-o, Victor
Cu placere!E interesanta selectia de anul asta, pe langa lucrari literare, vreo doua, si lucrari de activism social si ecologic, alte trei, mai este o nuvela ilustrata, un thriller, un sf literar, nelipsitul realism magic si o distopie feminista. Apare pana si o carte de poezie. Am avut ce sa adaug la to-read.
Sunt curios de In our mad and furious city si de Warlight. Ikea are saptamana asta o sala de lectura cu toate cartile nominalizate, ajung azi acolo si sper sa le gasesc.
Până la urmă m-am întors ieri acasă cu 3 cărți: The Water Cure, Everything Under și In Our Mad and Furious City...
Recenziile sunt chiar bune. O sa ii dau cu siguranta o sansa, descrierea cartii imi place. Mersi de info, Victor

Among their many remarkable qualities is a willingness to take risks with form. And we were struck, overall, by their disruptive power: these novels disrupted the way we thought about things we knew about, and made us think about things we didn’t know about. Still, despite what they have in common, every one of these books is wildly distinctive. It’s been an exhilarating journey so far and we’re looking forward to reading them again. But now we’ll have thousands and thousands of people reading along with us.”
