Welcome to the club, Mark Lawrence/Abercrombie BR buddy Ten!
(view spoiler)

Laura Tenfingers | 1132 comments Yes! How many fingers do we have to go? XD
And one finger should be a Heyer... and the rest of the Abercrombies 😍... we'll need more fingers.

I've only read Cotillion and had a hard time getting into it but by the end I really enjoyed it. I think I should try some more. You like her I gather?

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 5410 comments All your dates are confusing for us Americans. In the spirit of American elitism I demand you change them! Just kidding ;-)

You're doing 2 Expanse books in 1 month? Is Nemesis on the calendar already? Crap, do I need to add this to my tracker?

Haha! Sorry! I've lived in both US and non-US systems and I gotta say month/day/year makes no kind of sense 😉🤣

Yeah, so we had Nemesis on for September originally but yeah, we should change that after we delayed Cibola Burn. Just hadn't done it yet. One month after Cibola? We're in no rush now that the latest one has been delayed to March 2019. And it looks like just you and me.

I totally agree with you. American systems generally make no sense. 5280 feet in a mile? That's way stranger than 1000 meters in a kilometer. Americans complicate everything.

I can do one month after Cibola. My husband is caught up and is eagerly awaiting till I do, but I'm drowning in books and need to take it slow :-)

I don't remember liking Cotillion so much.

Yes, I love Heyer. The books were in my school library and my introduction to Historical Romance at age 14.

They also led to me asking my school English Teacher what "rake" meant - no not the garden instrument ma'am this is something else. And her being speechless and telling me what kind of books are you reading?

😂 at rebelling against your own tracker. That's something I would do.

That. That enabling is how I go from "I can totally do this" at the beginning of the month to "Help! I'm drowning!" by the end. This group is evil 😂

My BR tracker is like a diary of what NOT to do :D

Looking at it, it doesn't even match my spreadsheet, since I constantly kept joining Buddy Reads whenever I felt like it, unplanned... I did 22-30 Buddy Reads every month of the year, so far... I think... I'm several weeks behind on updating my spreadsheet...

Except me, of course. I'm innocent.

30 includes short stories... I don't think I ever managed more than 22-26 full-length BRs in a month... I've read a book almost every day this year... or I had until a couple weeks ago... I'm a few books behind, at this point, I think... still an impressive year for me... over 95k pages already, I think...

I've just read The Inconvenient Marriage and had a hard time getting into it too...but those covers are gorgeous and I vaguely remember furtively sneak reading Arabella or was it Araminta at work years and years ago and liking it. Heyer is a variable experience, apparently...
I dunno....too many BRs....I need to make a list....

EDIT
This group IS evil....😈😂

My favourites are Venetia, The Grand Sophy, Faro's Daughter and Frederica. But there are many I haven't read.

I actually did not like both the ones you two have read!

Yes I list the month as a heading and then just list the individual dates on mine. MM/DD is unnatural in my opinion. If there is a date where both numbers are smaller than 12 then I'm always confused as to whether someone has written it in the American or the UK format. Why there can't be one format worldwide I do not know.

But does this this even matter when I never update my tracker?
