Reader | 1 comments Books Where Main Character Goes To A Academy/Private/Boarding school. Usually YA books and around 250+ pages. Main character needs to be a Guy, teenager. Can be any kind of school like magic/mutation/superhero-villain.

Books like this that I've read are "The Academy Series by chad leito"/"Evil Genius by catherine jinks"/"Zero Sight by B. Justn Shier"/"No Ordinary Hero by Dee J. Stone"/Psion Beta by Jacob Gowans"/"Kid Sensation by kevin hardman".

This is my favorite genre and i would like to find more book series like these.

Cheryl A | 77 comments Insignia is the first in a series that features an academy where teens are trained in VR combat. The main character is a boy, but the school is co-ed.

Shaun Hately (drednort) | 69 comments 'Spud' and its sequels by John van de Ruit. A recent series revolving around a boy sent to a South African boarding school in the early 1990s (the period where Apartheid was being dismantled). Very funny and thought provoking at times.

Jen | 10 comments The 'Among the Hidden'series by Margaret Peterson Haddix. It's about a dystopian society where third children aren't allowed due to population. So they get sent to a school with aliases.

Haven't read this series, but the premise is of a teenage James Bond doing investigations around his school.
The Summoner
The first book is mostly set in an academy, the following books (excluding the prequel) had the school setting less so.

This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Hall! The Bruno and Boots books are "younger YA"/MG, but they're wacky and fun.
