What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book back in 1998 and again a few years later. It is about 2 friends that come home from college on a break and in the middle of the night someone breaks in and kills the family. They are unaware of the friend that is staying with them as she hides. She then for some reason gets into the killers RV I think to save another girl or help to capture the killer. I thought it was titled Snow Angel, but I googled that title and none of the summery's match. Please help.
