HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone and let's get a great start with our reading! See if you can meet the following five tasks in the month of January.
1. January is the first month of the new year.
Read a book with NEW or FIRST or the number 1 in the title
OR
Read a book with the number 1 in the page count (e.g. 251, 192)
2. A new book for the new year.
Read a book by a debut author
OR
Read a book which is by an author new to you.
3. Why reinvent the wheel?
Choose a book you read in 2018 which you rated five stars. Now read another book by the same author.
4. January's birthstone is the garnet
Read a book with a red, orange or yellow cover.
OR
Read a book with red, orange or yellow writing on the cover.
5. New Year Resolutions
"I am going to read more books this year." Read any book of your choice
OR
"I am going to expand my reading choices this year." Read a book from a genre you do not usually read.
Make sure at least 2 out of your five books are by Australian Authors and label them!
And if five books are not enough and you feel like being a super reader this month then answer ALL of the options plus two books for task 3. ( ten books, minimum four by Aussie authors). Phrynne dares you!!!
