it's personal discussion
12.22.18 to do
- read from the growing stack
-psych paper (!!!)
-sleep
-attempt being active on here
-bday gift for brother
-tell coach about trip
- write something please
since i've decided on not doing the things on my to do list for today, i might as well include more about my day on here. maybe i'll make this a real journal or maybe i'll delete it. fate will decide (or me at a later date)
today i:
- woke up at 7:15 (bleh too early for a saturday)
- swam for 2 hours
- cleaned my room
- reread a court of frost and starlight
- watched bird box (the new sandra bullock netflix movie)
- and thought about how much i don't want to write a 10 page minimum paper
Laurel wrote: "Hey! I also watched Bird Box just a while ago... It’s nice (at least for me)"I love your profile picture.
Laurel wrote: "Thanks, Rumell! Yours is cute too! I think I have an idea where you made it *winks*"And I have an idea where you've made yours. *winks back*
Laurel wrote: "Hey! I also watched Bird Box just a while ago... It’s nice (at least for me)"yeah, i enjoyed watching it
rant time
how am i supposed to write a paper with specific instructions that are contradictory? am i allowed to explain who i am in first person or do i have to act like i'm describing some girl isn't me? all the rubric says is "Who are you?" but this is a report not a personal narrative. i'm told to use either mla or apa but there are specific sections and questions i need to answer. do i keep those section titles? do i just separate them into paragraphs? i don't have the time or energy for this
UPDATE:
i gave up
i decided to skip practice today. my excuse is that i need to be rested to deal with my family and homework. i still feel guilty
12.26.18 to do/schedule
-buy bday gift for brother
-read
-psych paper
-birthday dinner
-practice
-organize new clothes
i made another to do list of things i'm not going to do so i guess i'll describe my day again.
today i:
- woke up at 7:15
- swam for three hours. the water smelled like a lake and was super foggy :(
- finished monstress volume 1 (and 2)
- cleaned up my group (self advertising never hurt anyone)
- cleaned up my new clothes from christmas
- and i'm about to leave for my brother's birthday dinner with my grandparents
my best friend is coming in town today and i'll actually get to hang out with her before i leave town tomorrow :D

How did you like monstress ?
Isabella wrote: "it was super good. i would recommend it. the cats in it are the cutest little things"I love it too, the artwork in it is gorgeous!! And yes the cats were cute : )
i got the first three volumes for christmas and they came with these two beautiful posters that i can't wait to hang up :D
i'm taking three books with me on this trip: castle in the air by diana wynne jones, vicious by v.e. schwab, and an absolutely remarkable thing by hank green. i'm really excited about the first one. howl's moving castle is one of my favorites.
i kinda want to read monstress but i also want to read vicious but i also want to watch runaways so i think i'll do... hmmm... none of them! i'm probably going to play around on my computer and be bored.
i have a meet today but i haven't swam in almost a week. we leave at 3:45 but the meet starts at 6 and school starts back up tomorrow. i'm going to be exhausted in the morning. i'm already so tired and i woke up at 11 today. at least the swim season is almost over. just one more month then i can sleep!!
let me tell you, i did Not miss going to school. at least practice was easier because of our win last night. i already have homework and all i want to do is go to sleep. only one more day this week, isabella!
my cat just shredded my legs and got blood on my favorite sweatpants :( why can't he just be nice to me? i feed him and play with him but then he goes all twitchy and just annihilates my limbs. oh the joys of having a cat

hi! i really want to see both of those movies because i find that type of thing to be so interesting but they aren't showing in the theater close to my house :(
i'm on like page 10 of gatsby but so far i'm liking the writing style
so i forgot to talk about it when i got on this morning but when i was driving home from practice, i saw this wild car accident happen. some guy was driving the opposite way i was (going towards me), and while we were stopped at a red light, he crossed three lanes and rammed straight into the car in front of me. i had my car ready to reverse away from him real quick but he stopped.
it was super weird and kinda scary but "know your chicken" by cibo matto was playing and i vroom vroomed my way out of that situation
i've had this for what, two weeks now, and i've posted quite a bit, but i kinda want to do an "all about me" type of thing. so i googled those all about me sheets you had to fill out in elementary and middle school, and i'm gonna do one here. you all can learn the random information about me you never really wanted to know

i actually might own that version of the movie. i'm planning on watching it after i finish the book. i really hope i enjoy it!
the sky was insanely purple when i was leaving school today. it was absolutely nuts. i took three pictures of it. maybe i should put one of them here? it was that cool.
almost everyone i know is getting sick including MY ENTIRE FAMILY. i refuse to miss any school so i really hope i don't catch what's going around. everyone is so miserable
i'm still feeling pretty good, but thanks for the suggestion. i'll for sure do that if i start feeling sick
i had to get five (5) whole impressions at the dentist today and it was awful. my mouth is so bad at being normal and it's expensive and painful
well i guess? i didn't have to redo any of them and i (thankfully) didn't gag. i don't really know the process of making them, if that's what you meant
i have some minor updates for my millions of fans who are closely following my life
the team dinner yesterday was tons of fun. pasta is always delicious, and all food tastes better after a 2 and a half hour practice. we played some fun games and got to know the freshmen better- the rest of us have been tight for years.
today conference was cancelled or delayed or whatever because of snow so that's great (sarcasm). we're coming to the end of the season so all of the teams are jam packed with stuff we can't move around. i say we either move it to saturday and just not do the duel meet we had planned on that day (we'd lose anyway) or just cancel conference altogether
