Hi everyone.

I don't know if there is already a discussion like this, but I'm looking for books where the heroine gets abused by someone the hero knows, or the hero falls in love with the heroine but she gets abused by someone she knows. The hero doesn't know she gets abused until he sees the bruises, or she ends up beaten at his home.
I don't really read historicals but if it is a really good book I will.

I'm new to Goodreads so I appreciate all the help I get.

Try the Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen

In a way they both have their issues, but they are also help save each other too. I liked it.
