We have a new feature for the group - Monthly Challenges, with new categories each month. For this month ....

Monthly Challenge: 1st to 28th February
Only books read during the challenge period are allowed.

Guidelines:
- Read ONE book for each category (10 books in total).
- You don't have to read all ten categories, just read whatever you are able.
- Any genres are acceptable.
- Any book length is acceptable.

For the competitive (optional)
- At the end of each month, document your finished books in the reporting thread
- 1pt for each book completed, 2pts for any book that is on the current Goodreads winners and nominees list
- Each month's totals will be collated and the member with the most points at the end of the year will have bragging rights ...... and we may be able to award a (small) prize!

Lynn - Do we open a response on the reporting thread as soon as we earn a point? And then keep updating it until the end of the month? Or do you want us to wait to the end of the month and do it?
I think it would be easier to add them as we read them and then keep updating, but what is easier for you?

Not necessarily at the end of the month, as you might finish before then but respond on the reporting thread once you've finished reading ALL the books you plan to read.

Hey Lynn, for "read a book with a green cover," what percentage of cover are you looking for to be green?

Also, I thought the cover for The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America's Shining Women had a lot of black, but tineye says it's really a dark shade of green. What do you think?

I wasn't going to be that strict with it and looking for an exact %figure, but I would be happy with approx 50%

As for Radium girls .... if it says it's green then it's green :)
