Around the Year in 52 Books discussion

Just finished The Rhythm Section for the “book from one of the top five money-making genres” (mystery/crime) prompt. Also read for the AYT challenge prompt “book being turned into a movie in 2019.” I actually think the movie may be stronger than the book. Good storyline, just had issues with the writing style. Plus the sexual descriptions of the main female character didn’t sit well with me...still trying to put into words why...
