ReeshiReads (reeshi) Yes in general I feel the same way but I do think (although it's very rare) that some movies are better than the book. For example The Hobbit. I enjoyed those movies much more than the book.

I like to read the book, and then watch the movie. It always makes it better. Like I read The Hunger Games trilogy before I watched the movies and it made me enjoy both books and movies so much

Hhhhiiiiissssss (sorry)

Anyways, I agree that the movies were better than the books-I love Radagast, tbh, he was a funny character, and his druid aesthetic.

I'm just a bit salty a load of stuff were like oofed from the books.

You mean the Perry Johnson movies?

ReeshiReads (reeshi) I feel really bad for Rick Riordan. He created such a wonderful story with amazing characters and the movie producers just screwed everything up.

ReeshiReads (reeshi) I know right. Everything was just wrong. The plot, the characters, the script. I don't mind if they have left a few scenes out or the characters didn't look exactly how I imagined them. I understand that. But what I hated was that that actors had no chemistry between them and they were nothing like the characters. The whole plot of the movie was based on one small scene in the book. Couldn't the directors of the Percy Jackson movie takes notes on the Harry Potter films??? The Harry Potter movies were successful for a reason.

ReeshiReads (reeshi) Yea I agree with you. I hated the Slytherin representation in both the books and movies. They were students just like the others and deserved more credit than what they got. There is good and bad in everyone. Not everything is black and white.

ReeshiReads (reeshi) Don’t get me started on the Cursed Child😂 it was just horrible. But this just my opinion and I don’t want anyone to feel bad for liking the book.

˚.🎀༘⋆ Jasmine (princessjas04) To me the books were better, the Movies were good but I lost interest in the movies after the fifth one

ReeshiReads (reeshi) I actually watched the movies before reading the books! It was a pretty cool experience

Long Live Wonderland I never read or watched Harry Potter. But the percy Jackson movies were trash compared to the books. Overall I enjoy books over movies. Except for the maze runner series. Tge movies were WAY better!

ReeshiReads (reeshi) How does the Chronicles of Narnia books compare the movies? Do the people who have read the books like the movies? I love the movies but never read the books.

message 15: by ReeshiReads (new)

ReeshiReads (reeshi) No one has read the Chronicles of Narnia Series?
