Austen August: A Pride and Prejudice Read-A-Long discussion

So Bingley and Jane, and Darcy and Lizzie get married.

Afterwards, Bingley buys an estate near to Pemberly, and Jane and Lizzie visit each other frequently.

Annoyingly, Lydia and Wickham often visit, asking Darcy for money a lot, and visiting the Bingleys so often that even he, probably one of the nicest and kindest men in the whole novel, gets tired of them! Kitty is kept away from Lydia's influence and matures more in the presence of Jane and Elizabeth (I imagine, much to her parents relief!)...

Lady Catherine eventually comes around to the idea of Elizabeth being married to Darcy and starts to visit them at Pemberly, while Lizzie has become close friends with Darcy's sister Georgiana, and even manages to be civil towards Caroline Bingley!

They always welcomed the Gardiners into their home, and loved them fondly, as it was because of them Elizabeth visited Pemberly and set the events I motion for Darcy and Elizabeth to be together.

I am thinking of doing another Austen August next year for Northanger Abbey/Persuasion, but I'll have to wait and see how busy real life gets before I can promise anything
