I can't believe how fast the summer has gone! I didn't manage to join in any of the last choices but intend to catch up in time. I had a particularly hectic few months!
Anyway, it's now time to nominate your choice of book for the next group read starting 25th September. The two winning books will join The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham.
The nominated books will go into a poll starting in one week.
Thanks :)

Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) I'm going to suggest a few this time...I just can't decide what to read at the moment!

A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin I've been wanting to start the Song of Ice and Fire series for a long while now and it's about time I got to it.

The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson This is another one that I've had for quite a while and have heard amazing things about.

The Lies of Locke Lamora (Gentleman Bastard, #1) by Scott Lynch Again, I've had this for a long time and I'm really loving high fantasy at the moment.

I was thinking a short read, such as We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson or The 100 by Kass Morgan might be a nice contrast to A Game of Thrones. I've also wanted to read The Lies of Locke Lamora. I'd planned to read The Name of the Wind in November, but I know Charlotte has already read that so I'd be willing to substitute one of the above fantasies (preferably A Game of Thrones since I own that one already).

We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson The 100 (The Hundred, #1) by Kass Morgan A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin The Lies of Locke Lamora (Gentleman Bastard, #1) by Scott Lynch The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss

The Name of the Wind can't actually be nominated because it's already won a past vote but you can still read it and discuss it on that post =)
I'd be interested in all of the other suggestions so far though =D
