has anyone interested in WWll read any good books on it and have you heard of a book called Enemy Brothers? I read that book like 4 times when I was younger and would be interested to know if it's as good as I once thought.

Ya I actually have that book and plan to read it....
I studied WW2 at my co-op for about a year, and I learned so much. It led me to buy things like a vintage magazine from 1942, and get into other vintage stuff as well. It also partly led me to read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand, which taught me even more about the era.
I finished The Longest Day a few days ago. Here is my review of it https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I read this book because of the 75th anniversary of D-Day a few weeks ago. The book was very well written and interesting, and I think it would appeal to anyone who likes history, because it focuses on the human experience, rather than the military details.

I like that because though I like everything about WW2, I prefer to here the personal story over complicated military details.

It's an incredible story, and well told by the author Laura Hillenbrand.
