Elizabeth Taylor Reading Project discussion

Happy June all !
Published in 1971 Mrs Palfrey at the Claremont is Elizabeth Taylor's eleventh novel and was adapted to film in 2005.
You can listen to David Baddiel discussing this book on Bookclub ( BBC Sounds App) but I recommend listening after you've read the book because of spoilers.

I read this one a few years ago, and it may be my favorite Eluzabeth Taylor novel (at least, so far). I’ve not seen the movie, though...

Read the book and saw the movie several years ago. Don’t remember now which one I preferred. May have to reread and rewatch.

I'm starting this today, looking forward to it.

This was the first book I read by Taylor, and I loved it. I might see if I can fit in a re-read of it this month.

Half way through and I love it !
Think this is going to be my favourite
