20.2 - Rookie at the Top - Hina's Task: Fall Television Lineup

Amid the activities of going back to school, the leaves changing color and days getting shorter. There is also a new television season (at least in USA) that brings new episodes of your favorite show and introduce new shows for our entertainment. This task is based on old and new shows that I am excited to see.

Choose one of the following options:

Option A: Modern Family - I love watching the different family dynamics in this show. Read a book that has "Family" as a main page genre.

Option B: Madam Secretary - The promos seems very interesting and one of the shows I really want to watch when it debuts. Since I like strong heroines, please choose a book from one of these lists. State in your post the position of the book and list used.
Strong Heroine Series
or
Fearless Female

Note: Please make sure that any book chosen conforms to all Seasonal Reading Challenge rules. The mere presence of a book on any of these lists does not guarantee that it will meet general SRC rules.

Option C: Big Bang Theory - I love comedies and this is one of my favorite shows with my favorite character, Sheldon! Read a book that has "Doctor" or "Dr." in the title.

Option D: How to Get Away With Murder - An eye catching title that has me wondering what this show is about. Read a book that has "Mystery" as a main page genre.

Susan A | 1769 comments Congrats on a successful first season!

I think I am going for option D mystery. What does mystery on main page mean? Just anywhere? So title, plot description, genre would all work?

Hi Susan A,

Thanks, It is Main page genre.

Chris (chrismd) | 1237 comments For Option B, if one book from series is on the list, are other books from the series OK to use? For example, One for the Money is the only book from the Stephanie Plum series listed on the first four pages. It's the same with the Kinsey Milhone series. (Yes, I realize these would also fit as mysteries, but I was curious.)
