Drew wandered around, trying to find any berries for his dinner tonight. He could always find the ripest ones in the forest for some reason. Looking under and over every bush that was in his sight.
"What's the matter?" Steph asked her dragon, Galaxy. She was acting weird, now that they had enterd the forest. galaxy seemed more alert than usual. "What's the matter girl?" Steph asked, keeping an eye out.
Drew looked up from the bushes he was working with. The voice he heard sounded like it was from behind him, putting on his mask and attaching the sword to his back. With in a matter of seconds he was gone from him original spot and trying to find out where that noise was coming from.
galaxy stopped. A low grumble came from her throat. The was standing in front of a bush. "Galaxy?" Steph asked. "What is it?" She hopped on galaxy's back. "Come out from the bush" she called.
Drew couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He had a pile of small rocks in his hand, being up a tree he could easily throw rocks down to the bush that the dragon and this person was talking to. He quietly got down from the tree and went to another spot, keeping the dragon confused of where he actually was.
Galaxy opens her mouth, ready to shoot fire. "No!" Steph said. "There could be a person!" She peered into the bush, to then find a pile of small rocks. "It's nothing" she soad, returning back to galaxy
Drew sighed, it wasn't nice to play tricks on beautiful girls. He said to himself, finally making the decision to come out. He was up another tree, lucky for him. He knew how to make a entrance, he thought to himself, jumping onto the ground or dragon, heck I choose ground. Finally jumping out the the tree and landing it perfectly. Having his sword drawn and ready for the dragon to turn and fire, his sword could withstand the hottest of fire without melting. Something was just... special about his blade.
"Woah" Steph said, mounting herself on her dragon. Galaxy didn't hesitate.mane bared her teeth, and somewhere in her mouth, a flaming blue fireball was brewing. She stretched her wings out, to make herself look bigger. Steph wonderd where all these people we're coming from.
Drew smiled through his mask and nodded to the dragon to fire. There was only one was to show a dragon that they can respect you, and that's beating then at their own game or power. Drew held up his sword to block the blue fire, " ready when you are" he finally said to the dragon.
"Galaxy..." She said, looking at her hen back at the stranger. She trusted her dragon. "I hope you know what you are doing" she said, taking a step back. Galaxy narrowed her eyes, then he blue ball of light shot out of her mouth, and headed towards the stranger.
Drew smiled, then swiped up with his sword and deflected the blue fire. Seeing as it explodes up in the sky he prepared for another attack. Keeping his sword up.
Galaxy looked stunned. But as she was surprised, she was preparing a bigger and better attack. She grasped all her energy to make this one, before shooting it out of her mouth, mint he direction of him. She focused, hoping for him to get hit.
Steph closed her eyes, scared to see the result.
Steph closed her eyes, scared to see the result.
Drew swiped to the side this time, the blue fire hit his sword. He could feel the power of this beast, but wouldn't let the dragon have her laughs. The blue fire ball sailed Into the air again. But when Drew looked back his sword was steaming and part if his right arm clothing was on fire, he instantly padded it out. Seeing a burn mark on his arm but it was only a burn line across his bicep to tricep. " man! That's gonna leave a mark" he shook his head.
"Galaxy!" Steph said. "Why?" She waked past e decagon, a scowl growing on her face. "I'm so sorry" she said, approaching the man. "She usually isn't like this" she looked up from his arm. "Who are you, anyway?"
" it's fine.. It just adds to the others. No need to apologize, and my name is Drew" he looked at the dragon carefully then sheathed his sword on his back.
"Don't worry about her, I'll deal with her later" Steph said. The boy looked older than her. "I'm Steph" she said politely. "I will take you back to berk, you can get some medicine there" she said.
" noooo no no no! I stay here" Drew backs away from her. He liked it out in the forest but something told him to go with her. He was so confused about what his feeling were telling him.
"Don't worry" she said. "You can trust me, and after we fix you up, we can come back here, and if you want, you can stay in the forest" she said. Galaxy nuzzled Steph.
" noooo, I don't go anywhere near that place. I haven't been there since I was 3 and no one wanted me. Nothing has changed" Drew kept backing up some more.
"Please" she said, walking towards him. "I don't want you to get more hurt" she patted galaxy's head. "Okay, how about I bring some medicine here?" She suggested.
" fine.. I'll be right here" he says through his mask. Sitting down on a rock, and watching her dragon. Mesmerized about being so close.
Steph looked at galaxy, she didn't look like she was moving. "Okay, I'll be 10 minuties" Steph said, running back to Berk. galaxy sat where she was, next to the boys she looked at him, and smiled.
Drew got up, he held out his hand. " may I?" He asked the dragon. Yes, asking the girl would've been better but dragons have a mind of their own. So he might as well get his fascination done now.
Galaxy nodded, and starched her knock out, so he could feel her cold scales. She lit her blue scales on her face up, o they were fluorescent. She closed her eyes, feeling his warm hand on her scales.
" not bad.. A little cold" he joked with her. Drew thought joking with dragons made the bond better with them. He rubbed his hand up and down her head.
She purred with delight, a high pitched dragon like voice came from her throat. She smiled at him, before she then went back to her original position, lying down, putting her wings over her body, lighting up the blue bits.
" oh so you liked that one" Drew sat down in front of her. He grabbed a small rock and threw it lightly at her, hoping she would play back. Even for a 18 year old, playing with a dragon is fun.
She lifted her wing, seeing the rock being thrown at her. She was fast enough to fly up, hit the rock with her head, nether hit it back at him with her front foot,p. She landed with delight.
Drew caught the rock," so you do know a few games" he chuckled through his mask. He haven't even played a game with someone else for so long"
Galaxy picked up a rock on the ground. She threw it up in the air, then juggled it with her tail, hitting it up and down, the hitting it towards Drew.
" that was a bigger rock!" Drew rolled out of the way and laughed. " I can't catch those rocks. " Drew gets up and pats the dust off of his clothes.
Galaxy rolled around on the ground.
"Galaxy, what are you doing?" Steph said, walking into the clearing, holding a bunch of leaves and berries. She saw drew. "Was she giving you a hard time?" Steph asked.
"Galaxy, what are you doing?" Steph said, walking into the clearing, holding a bunch of leaves and berries. She saw drew. "Was she giving you a hard time?" Steph asked.
" a very hard time" Drew smiled at both of them. But he was only joking, " that didn't take ten minutes" Drew looked up at the sun and where it was located.
"Oh well, my ability to judge time by distance, isn't the best" she said. "May I look at your arm?" She asked, kneeling down next to him, galaxy looking over her shoulder with big brown eyes.
" does that mean I have to take off my mask and shirt?" Drew looked at her. He wouldn't care either way exept for his mask. No one has seen his face since he left.
"It's up to you, you can put it on yourself, but it's better if I do it. I understand if you don't want to although" she said, pushing the remedies towards him to make up his mind.
" mhhhhh. Fine" Drew got up again, he cautiously took off his mask. Revealing a face that was quite handsome. He looked at her, finally he unstrapped his armour. Taking it off and everything else on top, until he was down onto his skin. Revealing his nice toned upper body.
Steph raised her eyebrows, but quickly lowers them again. "Oh, okay" she said, looking at the wound. She started rubbing the leaves into a mixture with the berries, then placing them on his would, to then tie them up with bandages. "Done" she said, taking a step back. "Anything else?"
" not until she burns me again" Drew smiled, getting his armour back on then putting back on his mask. He was still scared of her telling he was out here, living under no rule or authority.
"So..." She said. "Are you planning to say here, or to go back to berk?" She looked back a galaxy. "Have you got a dragon? You seem to get along with them really well" Steph said, before galaxy started pacing in circles around both of them.
" no I don't have a dragon yet.. But soon" Drew smiled. " and about berk.. I..I. Don't know.. I haven't been back there since I was 4"
"It's really nice" Steph said, patting her dragons head. "And safe, now that we all have a dragon" she smiled at galaxy before looking at him. "You should come, you would fit right in, and we have some amazing dragons" she said, tilting her head waiting for an answer.
" umm, I am not sure" Drew scratched his hurt arm. " it's just.. I don't know. I've been here for a very long time" he looked around.
"Really" Steph said. "It's up to you, I don't want to influence your decision in any way, all totally up to you" she understood that Drew had grown up here, so she let him be, deciding for himself.
" I guess I can give it a try" Drew finally came to that desicion. " I mean.. 13 years in the forest has been a little lonely"
"Come on, you will have fun" she said, hopping on Galaxy. "You wanna fly there?" She asked, hoping she would say yes. "We could pick you a dragon today."
" I don't think she will want to" Drew rubbed galaxy's head. " I can walk if I must.. It's not like I don't need the exercise"
